It has been brought to our attention that there have recently been instances of fraudulent job offers pretending to be from Thyme Care. The individuals or organizations sending these fake employment offers may pose as a Thyme Care recruiter or representative and request personal information, purchasing of equipment or funds to further the recruitment process. Be advised that Thyme Care does not extend unsolicited employment offers. Furthermore, Thyme Care does not charge prospective candidates with fees or make requests for funding as a part of the recruitment process.

What is recruitment fraud?

Recruitment fraud is a scam that could potentially take a number of forms. In all cases, an individual or organization is posing as a legitimate company (such as Thyme Care) for the purpose of fraudulently obtaining money or personal information from individuals. This fraud is normally carried out online and could utilize some combination of the following: false websites, fake emails, fake virtual interviews, misappropriating a profile of a company recruiter, etc. These scams have recently become very sophisticated and convincing.

How to identify recruitment fraud:

  • Thyme Care applicants are required to apply only via our official company website (thymecare.com) or directly via our applicant tracking system (app.careerpuck.com/job-board/thymecare/). Any action to ask you to apply to a job that does not lead back to one of these sites is likely to be fraudulent.
  • Thyme Care only utilizes one domain for email accounts (example@thymecare.com). Any contact by an email that does not use exactly that domain is likely to be fraudulent.
  • During the selection process, we will require one or more interviews that are conducted virtually with employees of the company. We do not conduct our interviews via a chat platform or conduct text-based interviews. Any offer of employment that is unsolicited and/or does not involve an interview process is likely to be fraudulent.
  • Thyme Care does not ask the applicant for information related to bank accounts, credit cards, or other financial accounts prior to a signed, official offer letter of employment. If you are being asked for this information earlier in the process, it is likely to be fraudulent.

You may report any such behavior via email to our recruiting team at recruiting@thymecare.com. If you have been defrauded or suspect identity theft as a result of an employment scam, please contact your local law enforcement agency for guidance.
