What these terms mean
- Copay is a fixed amount you pay for medical services. For example, if your plan has a $30 copay for doctor visits, you'll pay $30 at your appointment.
- Deductible is the amount you must pay before your insurance starts helping with costs. For example, if your deductible is $1,500 and you have a $1,200 procedure, you pay the full $1,200 and have $300 left to meet your deductible.
- Coinsurance is your share of costs after meeting your deductible. For example, with 20% coinsurance on a $100 bill, you pay $20 and insurance pays $80.

We also have a Payment Support Program for Thyme Care members who qualify based on income. Most importantly, we'll make sure you get the care you need—without extra worry.
