Thyme Care, Inc. (“Thyme Care”, "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This SMS Privacy Policy (“Policy”) governs how we treat the Personal Information that we collect and receive from you when you opt-in to receive SMS messages from us. This Policy applies to SMS communications and does not supersede our broader Privacy Policy, which governs all other aspects of data collection and usage.
What Information is Collected
We collect information you voluntarily provide directly to us, information that we collect automatically when you interact with our services, and information collected from third parties. The categories of personal information that we collect for the purposes of SMS communication are described below.
- Personal Information: We collect certain personal information, such as your phone number, name, and contact information.
- Message Content: We collect the content of the messages you send and receive from us. The content may include healthcare diagnosis, ongoing symptoms tracking and monitoring, answers to questions you may ask us regarding your diagnosis, and information related to services that may assist you navigate your healthcare diagnosis.
- Opt-In Information: We collect your SMS consent information.
- Service Interaction Data: We collect information about your interactions with our services, such as appointment details, questions sent to our care team members, and responses to our services.
Use of Your Information
When you opt in to receive SMS messages, we may use your information to provide both essential service updates and optional information related to new service offerings via SMS. Service updates are transactional messages related to the services we provide, such as care team appointment confirmations, care plan updates, regular care team member check-ins, and care team support. With your consent, we may also use your phone number to send new service offerings available to you by your health plan provider.
Sharing of Your Information
We will not share your opt-in to SMS messaging with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with our services. We may share your information, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages. Mobile information collected for SMS communications will not be shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
To comply with legal obligations. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with applicable laws (such as U.S. copyright law), in response to a court order, judicial or other government subpoena or warrant, or to otherwise cooperate with law enforcement or other governmental agencies.
Opting Out
If you wish to unsubscribe from SMS messages, you can reply with the word 'STOP' and you will no longer receive messages. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.

If you need assistance, you can reply with the word 'HELP' to any of our messages. You will receive information on how to contact us or find support resources.
Message Rates and Frequency
By opting in to receive text messages, you acknowledge and represent to Thyme Care that you are the current wireless service plan subscriber and/or an authorized user of the mobile phone number. You must inform us immediately if your mobile phone number changes and/or you no longer are an authorized user of the mobile phone number.
While Thyme Care does not charge a text message fee, this text program is a standard SMS/MMS program and message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless phone carrier for your specific plan details.
The number of messages you may receive varies. If you have opted in with Thyme Care to receive messages regarding new service offerings via text, you expressly consent to receive text messages no more than three (3) times per week. If you have opted into health or care coordination service-related messages, these messages may exceed three (3) times per week depending on the frequency and type of care coordination service-related messages you request to receive.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
Thyme Care may update this SMS Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy located on our website at https://www.thymecare.com/. In the event of significant changes, we will provide a more prominent notice.
